On Wednesday Oct 4th 2023 a crowd gathered at Barton Springs pool for the ceremony celebrating "Flo" the pecan tree's lifetime since around 1928.
A decay fungi rendered the tree "hollow enough to fit a man inside it," said Guy LeBlanc, certified arborist.
